oops-just installed PIP on this computer, can't get it to work.
1. There is nothing in the 'profile' area.
2. "Unknown error 87-FTPuploadfile:internetconn"

What's the fix? Way back when, pip was downloaded, files extracted, and manually installed, and we had to do something to get the profile, but this time, an installer did it for me. Help anyone??

Thanks Jake--been too long to remember those little details. See if it works......
51 Studebaker Champion my brother & I removed from Dad's old autoshop before we had the structure demolished in Jan 08. The place had not been used in over 25 years, dirty and dusty as heck. My brother took the eng & transmission back to Ark with him and already has it running, but the car and all it's parts are in my barn here in Cleveland. That eng did not have 2000 miles on it when the car was wrecked in the front end. The car was in the back portion of the shop (shop could hold 7 vehicles) and we had to manually move a LOT of crap out of the way to get to it.

Phew!!I'm not surprised you both look a bit 'out of it' in the photo, Don...the SIZE of that MJ Pipe!! Wow!!..hmmm
Why did you split the car? Do you intend to get it all back together again? Talk about 'time stood still...' What else did you find in that Aladdin's cave?

Nick,
The entire front cap was wrecked in 1953. Back then, you could order all new parts from Studebaker, which my Dad did. He just never got around to reassembling it.Plus, Dad had a lot of other parts for it as well--but used. I know we got 2 sets of front fenders, 2 grills, 2 hoods, and a 1/2 trailer load of other parts.
The car belongs to my brother--he fully intends to reassemble and restore it.

Thanks for the reply Don!!
You know what...I was 6 years old when that car was wrecked...and the funny thing is...that actual car was my favourite at the time, and I had two or three dinky toy models of it, along with my other favourite..a Packard Convertible!! Wish I could be there to help restore it That would be wonderful!
Nick
