Hey everyone! After months of hard work and finally getting over my fear of commiting to something, I get a new car!!!

Its a 2008 Scion tC, 5 speed manual .....aaaand the only extra thing I could afford was a spoiler. But either way, here she is and she is soooooo sexy!

Its such a smooth ride! Even though I very rarely drove stick when I had the Fiero, I picked it up on the drive out of the dealer! aaaand.... I gotta give the credit to Jerry for teaching me how..... if it wasnt for that..... I wouldnt have bee able to get a manual.

But aaaanyways...

This car is so great! Im glad I finally have a sexy dependable car! This was the first new car Ive ever gotten and it was a very nice experience at the dealer I went to (West Herr Toyota/Scion of western NY).

and yes.... I miss Fieros.... and Ill get another one.... someday

Those are nice and they get awesome gas mileage, if you drive them right. And they are fun, A guy that I worked at LL Bean with let me drive his and it was quick, but his was supercharged too. Congrats on your new purchase.

Nice..

Scion is a great car fr the money. It seems to rival Saturn with quality and reliability.

Very nice !!!!!
I looked at one when they first came out.
Does yours have the three panel sunroof?
I was surprized how roomy they are, and if I remember correctly the back seats recline?
Have fun with it............and keep visiting the forum?
Everyone enjoyed you........Cliff

Now it has a two pannell sun roof and I love how when it opens it slides all the way back and with the touch of a botton!! (Ive never had a new car so this is all pretty effin sweet to me)

And dont worry, Ill be hangin around here for a while... even if I dont post all that often.

Aaaand if I can get my friend that takes good pics to come over at some point... Im sure no one would be opposed to me posting them in girls without Fieros

Thats a very nice car.
But you aren't really committed unless you have to carry tools with you .
Just in case.
In case it dies before you get home.
Like a 1986 Fiero.
Nice car, though. Me Likee.

Congrats on the car!!
Now, when you get ready to get another Fiero, you'll have something reliable to drive when it breaks down.

looks pretty nice. Only downside is your going to have to wash it 2 or 3 times a day minimum to keep it pretty black is such a PITA...specially with salt. I have enough problems with dark blue. My white vette looks clean even if i drove on salty roads for a month. Good luck. A lot of people that think they cant afford a new car usually dont take into account that the cost of fixing an old one to keep it running is usually more a month than payments.

Very nice choice!

I have purchased a few cars from West Herr franchises now, and have never had a problem dealing with their sales or service departments. I think you will continue to be pleased with the dealer down the road too!

Enjoy the new ride, and good luck keeping it clean around here this time of year! I washed my silver Subie over the weekend, and couldn't keep it salt free for the half mile back to my house!

Hah! Yea I think its commitment when that bill comes around every month for the next 3 years, and ya know... all those dotted lines I signed...

I'll take anyone for a ride!

...once my stick driving is a little more smooth. But Im doing really good, I swear!
