I would really like to make my own from MP3's or WAVs, is this possible? Can U use a USB cord or something to connect to the phone and load them to it?

There is a USB cable you can use. I only use the SD card and put my MP3's on it directly. The trick is to put the SD car into the phone and format it FIRST. The phone will create the directory structure for the music pics and such.

Good Luck!

You upload sound clips from your computer. You get to choose what song...where in the song the ringtone starts...and the length of the ringtone(within reason).

Register and choose the free option. It takes anywhere from a couple hours...to sometimes a couple days for the ringtones to come across...but the price is right.
(fyi...if you make the ringtones too long...sometimes they won't be delivered at all)

They convert them...and send them to your phone as a PIX attachment.
Then you can save them as ringtones.

For my phone I use a free program called audacity. I use it to select a 20-30 second clip from a song and export it to its own mp3. Then I email that file to my phone by sending it to xxx-xxx-xxxx@vzwpix.com (x = phone number). Can take a few hours before it reaches your phone, but it works.

You should be able to go to the service provider web site. I use Verizon service, so I would go to Verizonwireless.com
