Old printer crapped out this weekend on our take-off system. It operates on Win 98. Right now, no money or time to update to Win XP. If we did, we would have to upgrade the take-off software and that would take both time and money we don't have right now. Anyway, went out and bought new printer this weekend and didn't even think about how the old OS would effect it. Is there a way to get the new printer (an HP D4260 Deskjet) to work with Win 98?

The HP 882C that was on there worked with a USB cable. But it could also work with a parallel cable. No sense really in returning the printer. I'm sure that any printer I get will have the same problem.
