BTW, I can tell you how it worked...
Glow sticks work on a chemical reaction between some nasty oily chemical and a glass vial of hydrogen peroxide. If someone cut open a glow stick without breaking the vial, and dumped the chemical into the mt. dew....... a couple thimbles of peroxide would get it glowing.

Darn it, I was hoping to do this for my kids. Anybody know how they really did it? I did notice in the first video the mt dew appeared flat, as opposed to the snopes vid. -Jason
