Might be going that way and have a couple hours to burn while I'm there. If there are any, I wouldn't mind checking out a couple shops.

The kind that build big money, eye-candy, hot rods if possible.

Dunno about hotrods, but there's a place called "Driving Machines" in Plain City, just west of Columbus. They rebuild older race cars. They're one of my clients. Jeffery Heller is the owner.

No real hot rod builder shops Ive ever heard of. Jegs for hipo parts and thats about it. Bill Cantly (Cantly Auto Parts) sells parts and builds short track race cars (Howe Chassis for example). Closest thing to a pro shop is Bobby Rahal race team in Dublin (NW Columbus). I was born and raised here, owned my shop for over 30+ years.

Cool, thanks guys. My trip ended up getting postponed, but we should be down there one weekend soon. I guess I'll just wander around in Jegs. Any of the three retail stores listed on their site better than the others?
