They won't let us use the internet for radio at work, I sit at a desk, and we recently moved into a bigger building and now I only get one FM station on my little Philips boombox and it is fuzzy most of the time. Is there anything I can use to boost my reception?

have you looked into the satellite radio's? but if there is too much metal reception may not be great. also could get an mp3 player with speakers or just a cd player.

On your actual question, they do make them, I used to see them in Radio Shack

It has a real, pull out 24 inch antenna, i usually flip stations and settle on talk radio if sick of the music. I'll have to check out the Shack.

bummer. well, do you have a computer at the desk, and can ya stream internet radio? most better radio stations (at least around here) have a internet version of themselves, so you can stream them. oops - just read the first post - no - you cant.....

does anyone else around you have a radio that picks up stations? might just need a better system....or, might be to much interferance in the new building....

I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven, I told Bill that if Sandra is going to listen to her headphones while she's filing then I should be able to listen to the radio while I'm collating so I don't see why I should have to turn down the radio because I enjoy listening at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.
