Bacon bread, perfect for that Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich. Or maybe just a bacon, bacon and bacon sandwich:

---------------------------------

This bread machine recipe for Cheddar and Bacon Bread is great for a brunch or with a salad for dinner.
INGREDIENTS:

* 1-1/3 cups water
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 1-1/4 teaspoon salt
* 2 tablespoons plus 1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
* 4 cups bread flour
* 3 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
* 2 teaspoons dry active yeast
* 2 cups shredded cheddar or swiss cheese
* 8 slices bacon, crumbled
* -or- 3 tablespoons bacon bits*

PREPARATION:
Place ingredients in bread pan in order listed or according to manufacturer's directions. The cheddar cheese and bacon are added at the fruit and nut signal. Depending on your machine this could be anywhere from 30 to 40 minutes into the cycle.

* Imitation or real bacon bits may be used. They can be found in the salad dressing section of the grocery store. If you use real bacon bits, use 1/2 cup.

But wait, there's more to this thread than bread LOL:

-----------------------------------------

Spaghetti with Bacon Sauce

1 8-oz package spaghetti
1 and 1/2 cups diced bacon
1/2 cup green pepper, minced
1/2 cup onion, minced
2 cups thin tomato sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 grated cheese

Cook the spaghetti, drain thoroughly. For the sauce, fry the bacon slightly, add the green pepper and onion and saute until the onion is light brown. Add the tomato sauce, chili powder and salt and cook 10 minutes. Turn the spaghetti in a casserole or individual baking dishes. Pour the sauce over, sprinkle with the cheese and set in a 350 oven just until the cheese is melted.

If you are having heartburn problems you might want to get on Prilosec. When I'm on it I can eat anything I like and never get any heartburn. A couple of weeks of it and I'll start getting wicked heartburn from any of the trigger foods even if I just eat a little bit of them. The good thing about Prilosec is that you can take it indefinitely without any side effects and it is available over the counter. You can even get it pretty cheap at Costco.

Nah, I rarely ever get it... it was just a bad combination of sugary liquid + empty stomach+ a double heaping of agita.
