Got a Mac OS X about a year ago. It's acting a bit weird. Sometimes it just shuts down Safari with no reason. I open it back up and do what I was doing with no problems. Another thing is it sounds like the disk drive runs for half a minute randomly when it's in powersave mode and I can't get back on until it's finished. I've run repair permission but it's still doing it. Any suggestions?

Can you get a bit more information? What model Macintosh, and how much RAM, and what version of OS X? If you go to the top left on your screen, and select 'About This Mac' from the 'Apple' menu, it will tell you most of this information...
