Very cool vid! I am pretty sure the jet is a Mirage F1, but I have no idea where the video was shot. My guess would be Australia as I think they used to use those aircraft.
Whatever the case, the pilots have some huge balls though!

I don't know what plane it is, but do you think I can swap it into my Fiero? LOL. You would think I would know being in the heart of several major naval bases, but I'm not, nor was I ever in the military.
Don't know what the music is, but it's cool. As far as the aircraft, I can only say that I'd have to guess they're Australian. The one shot of the guy in uniform. The head gear kinda gives that away. But I'm not familiar with the planes themselves. Could be wrong though.

Hard to tell because you never really get a good look at the aircraft, but I'd say it belongs to the Su 17 - 22 family...the Russian helo on the ground in several of the shots, is further evidence. The fact that they are risking FOD by flying so low in trail formation is another clue; Russian aircraft are designed to take tremendous abuse and operate from unimproved fields, so they don't worry as much as our guys do about ingesting crap. Their fighters are still designed to take off from dirt strips; ours need concrete.
EDIT...hmmmm...side intakes...maybe a variant? Gotta keep looking...

Where they are I have no Idea but I do believe these aircraft are part of some european air forces also that one guys hat in the video reminds me of some french get up. But that's just a guess.
Wow! When I first saw the video I thought it was a Mirage and the terrain looked like Africa to me. You cleverly discovered that it was indeed the Mirage F1. However they are flying in The Repulic of Chad, Arica.
All the people saying it's a Mirage are probably right, which one I'm not sure. But it most probably was filmed somewhere in Africa, the French have many interests and "friends" there still. Many of those militaries take their tradition from the French.

Dont look like a Mirage to me. Intakes are far different and its not a delta wing. Im leaning more to Partnavia Tornado. I havent kept up too much in recent years though. Add to that, the Tornado (and maybe decendents) are low level attack planes. Ive flown that low very fast in VN but never had the balls to do a barrel roll that low.......
