I absolutely love grape soda. Unfortunately, I'm both fat and diabetic so regular grape soda is out. I've been searching high and low for years for someone to make a diet grape soda. While shopping at the local Krogers (grocery store) tonight, I found some Big K brand (Kroger store brand) diet grape soda!!! Not quite as tasty as its sugared cousin but still wonderful. Ahhhh! (I've lost 5# (US) so far (down to 281# for those that care) so I don't want to mess things up if I don't have to. Only 50# (US) to go.)

Grape is one flavor I just never could wrap my tongue around. Did`nt like it when I was a kid.
Now...For real off the vine grapes(Red or Green) I like them.

Finally? Diet Rite had /white/ grape for years now. ( kiwi strawberry, tangerine.. ) I used to drink that stuff like water 10 years ago. There was another brand out there ( nehi? ) that used to have a grape version when i was a kid back in the 70s. ( i still remember back in college when you could get 2 liter bottles of wine-coolers at cub foods for cheaper then coke .. )

And, yes i noticed it in our local Kroger too a few weeks ago and got some. The shelf was empty the next day, so it looks like there is some demand for the stuff, which will increase its chances of sticking around.

Nurb---Diet Rite white grape is nothing like the purple stuff. Purple stuff ROCKS!!!

Me too!!! Diet Mt. Dew is the "crack" of diet soft drinks

Edit: Diet Mt. Dew also has the strange ability to taste the same at either 35 degrees F or room/air temperature. Sometimes I'll buy a Diet Mt. Dew on the way out of work, drive home, sit at the computer, then watch some TV and I'll still be drinking the SAME bottle of Diet Dew 4-5 hours later! And it still tastes the same! Weird...
