This is what I have been doing since my shoulder surgery.
I went to see Darrell Gwynn at his shop which is just a few miles from my house.
Some of you might know that Darrell was a top fuel driver a few years ago up until he had a terrible accident that left him in a wheel chair.
The first two pics are actual rod and piston that were used in top fuel. The rod new cost $150.
The next three pics are also actual rod/piston but the owner is unknown.
These last two pics are from my LT1 when I first bought it. The chain and gears were replaced as a precaution.
The washer in the last pic has been centered prior to the final build.
