thanks wichita. that last one is just great.

i used to have several of the comic "books" of calvin and hobbes. i think they were about $20 a pop so $100 for the whole collection is a good deal.

funny stuff.

Laughed till the tears ran down my face...a BIG thank you for posting that. And yes, the cartoonist is a genius...my favorite Calvin and Hobbes stuff is the Spaceman Spiff episodes where he imagines his mother is a space alien (or spaceship, with said aliens inside) chasing him. "Zounds! The old battlewagon is surprisingly fast!" "Don't you call ME an old battlewagon, mister!!" (Rough quote...but you get the idea.)

Edit: Now I know what daughter can get me for Christmas! If it snows here enough this year, I'm going to try to duplicate some of these, lol...

heh...Calvin and Hobbes...my all time favorite. Still can't believe Bill Waterson quit doing such a lucrative strip. That so so many enjoyed.
heh...spaceman spiff...one of Calvins funnier alter egos.

Thanks for the thread.

What is this "snow" you go on about?
I've never heard of it.

I always wanted to try the "over the hill" perspective piece - got a great hill for it at my parent's place, but never the volume of snow necessary!

Thanks for posting those!

You forgot the snowman on where he makes a bunch of little ones and stomps through them like godzilla.

And the one where he makes the "anatomically correct" one.

Calvin is my hero.

(the shark one is by far the best)
