Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're asking for...
RAR is just a way of compressing files, similar to ZIP.

Do a Google search on WinRAR. There are free downloadable utilities that will decompress these files.

I've seen free ones but they all are limited to 4 or 5 characters in the PW. "Retail" full featured ones are expensive, $100 oe more. I found one on errr..another board and wasn't happy at all with the free version. More than once I've had to delete po...data because I didn't save the PW.

I have WinRar.
But need "help" remembering the password that was applied to the file.

It will let you explore and use files from inside a .rar file without opening it or extracting the files. (right-click/ explore) That MIGHT get you in.

To disagree with you.....
A torrent site is like a gun.
Use it correctly and all is well.

A gun can be used to kill or be used for target practice.
A torrent site can be used for illegal files...BUT.....There are also some perfectly legal downloads on them.
So...linking to a torrent site does not automatically mean that there is anything illegal going on.

But...to also agree with you, NO....no promotion of illegal activities should ever be done on this forum.
