How good is it with enhanced manufacturer stuff? Does that one handle any of the manufacturer specific data requests or bi directional functions like I/M lamp resets, power balance tests, instrument panel sweeps and the like?

I've got the software from www.obd-2.com but it's p/c based, not palm. If your looking for something for a specific manufacturer, for Ford there is a great palm version of the NGS that from what I've heard actually functions better than the NGS.

Other options...

EASE http://www.obd2.com/palm/data/palm.htm (their laptop stuff was the rolls royce of computer based solutions when this all started)

Auterra http://www.auterraweb.com/ and a review by a reseller http://www.troublecodes.net/articles/auterra/Auterra_Palm_Based_Scanner_Review.shtml

Autotap http://www.troublecodes.net/articles/AT/palm/ "a review" by those selling it and the Autotap website
http://www.autotap.com/product.asp?sku=ATS

Hope this helps.
