To the right of the chat box in the cafe, there's a big white box with nothing in it. There is also a white text box outside the cafe wall. A couple of times I went in, the "Hit Escape to exit..." box was not visible, nor did hitting escape exit the chat. If you don't type something in, you can't leave.

The white box is normal. That box is a placeholder.... Try draggin' an IE Address into it:
the other box is normal.
The "hit esc" thing should appear when you are "locked " into that chat area. if ya hit esc and don't LEAVE that chat area, then you won't get "locked" again...and it won't appear again...You'd hafta leave that little area then step on it again...then yer "locked"...
That's set up so you don't end up all blobbed together when yer all chattin'

If I move to the bar that locks you into the chat - if I don't stop and wait, the chat box will center, but I can keep moving. Unless you go back and stand on the bar, you cannot hit escape to get out of the chat.
If I step on the box and wait, when the chat box starts to center and "Hit esc." shows up, I can still move off of the box. I'm not locked until the chat box stops moving. That takes 2-3 seconds on this computer.
Floogly: It may just be my crappy video card in this box. The text boxes redraw when you move around, so you end up with a bunch of white lines in the boxes. This only happens when I move around after I do the above.
Ok, I tried it out. Neat concept A few little things: - character moves too fast, causes things to blur (imho) - in the cafe, the "warp to" dropdown box gets hidden behind the chat window - at the edge of the zones, the head sometimes jumps instead of staying on the ground - I was able to (accidentally) lose the "warp to" box by going to the chat, hitting esc, then leaving before the 5 secs or whatever for the box to reappear. It never comes back until you go back on the chat window. - you can get the chat somewhat messed up by standing over the chat box, then "changing your mind" and leaving before it gets completely set up. It gets put in a semi-chatting mode.
