since we can do Avatars now I am going to go over how to crop picturesso you can actually see what you want to in the 70X70 size limit.

First off Avatars: (using PIP) To place an Avatar go to "Profile" and scroll down to avatar, ctrl-V the picture you have selected and remove the [IMG] on either end, go to the bottom of the page and click "Submit Modifications". Youre Avatar should automatically be posted on all your posts.

I use IrfanView You'll need to download it if you dont have anything to crop with.

We are going to be using this picture:

(I'm not sure whose this is, I grabbed it from Google images.)

Step 1: Open the picture using IrfanView, this may require you right clicking and using the Open with option.

Step 2: Drag your pointer across the picture while holding the left button down, this will form a square.


Step 3: Go up to the toolbar, and select Edit> Crop selection.


Step 4: Go to the toobar again, and select File>Save as (Make sure its saved as a JPEG at this point.) (Also make sure you put it somewhere easy to find )



Now you should be able to upload the picture using PIP or whatever your used to, and make it your Avatar.
