just got off the phone.

about 2 years ago, I worked a short-term contract for a tier-1 supplier to GM. We made frames for the trucks and the hummers.

I didnt think I did anything special, just did my job, collected my pay and went home. It was a temp job to me and thats it.

I get this phone call out of the blue--they want me back, full time. 27 bucks an hour, plus benifits.

My jaw is still on the floor. I have absoloutly no idea what I did that was so good to get this offer, but I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth. I thinks I just found out how I'm going to pay for 3 kids to go to college, and maybee buy this farm instead of doing a rent/cropshare. Maybee the horses can have thier own barn instead of a rented place.

and maybee--just maybee--(LOL) there is a SBC and new cradle in my future.

Lessee......27 bucks, plus one fiero, plus 3 kids, plus 4 horses.....equals one broke man. LOL

let's simplify the equaition, Fiero + man = broke man

At least, that's how it works out in my life.

Er - were they 4 gift horses, perhaps? I'm sure the 3 kids were Whatever you did, it must have impressed somebody that matters. Congratulations, and best of luck in the new job !
