I just bought myself an HP dv8110 to use for work, so I have no need for my other laptop. I am selling my Toshiba 1415-S173. Components that have been upgraded are in bold.

Intel Celeron 2.4GHz Processor 256KB Level 2 cache, 400MHz FSB
512MB DDR RAM
30GB Hard Disk Drive
DVD/CD-RW Drive, Built-in
Floppy Disk Drive, Built-In
15" Screen, supporting up to 16M colors at 1024 x 768
nVIDIA GeForce4 420 Go, 16MB RAM
56K V.90 Data and Fax Modem
10/100 Network Interface Card
Internal 802.11b Wireless LAN

I will include all software (Driver/XP Home CDs) that came with it. I will also include Office XP (CDs included).

The only problems that it has is for some reason the CD drive light doesn't shut off. There is no effect on how it runs, but it is just something I noticed. Also, the battery may need replaced. It doesn't seem to hold its charge as long as it should, but I keep it plugged in when I use it, so I really can't honestly remember. It isn't completely shot, but it is starting to go. (SEE BELOW)

I would like to see $350/obo shipped for it.

***UPDATE***
I have been testing the battery since this post. I turned it on and left it run on the dining room table. It has a little under 2 hours of battery life on a full charge. Toshiba's website says that a new battery should last 2 and a half hours. I guess it isn't in as bad of shape as I thought

I bought the laptop in 2003 after I graduated from high school.

Other notes:
It originally had a 1.8GHz processor and 256MB of RAM. I work for a civil engineering company and use AutoCAD at work. The 1.8 was just too slow to be able to actually "use" AutoCAD on it, so I upgraded the RAM and CPU. While I had it apart I put the wireless network card in as well. It ran it fine, but I usually have 2 or 3 copies of the program open at a time, and it just couldn't handle that.

So it dont like the demands of autocad.. but how will it do with photoshop CS2 or any photo editing software?? my GF is headed up to Wash DC for three months thanks to the airforce calling her back in, and I reallllly dont want to send her with my HP 8800 laptop. Even if shes going to be on a base I don't feel secure more then a mile from my baby. (the laptop). But she does alot of editing photos and such so I't would have to handle that kind of load. not major layering like I use mine for but moderate. can it upgrade to a gig?

If you think It can handle CS2. and the other guy isnt still in line.. consider it sold. Thanks

The memory is maxed out at 512MB. It has no problems with running any photo editing software. I have Corel Draw 11 that I use for my editing needs and it has no problems handling that.

If your buyer backs out, I know my inlaws have been looking for a word process machine / internet at a good $$ and this looks as if it fits the bill. LMK if your buyer backs out!
