My daily winter driver is an 89 Cavalier with the 4cyl OHV engine. My cooling fan is not kickin' in like it's supposed to. I've checked the fan itself and it's OK (as is the fan switch on the thermostat housing and no blown #17 fuse.) I know there's a relay for this thing somewhere but it's not where the Haynes manual says it is, on the drivers side inner fender between the battery and strut tower.
IT'S GOTTA BE SOMEWHERE but I can't locate the darn thing. The only relays I've been able to locate are two mounted to the firewall but there's no mention of them in the schematics. I need this car up and running because it's time for the Fiero go into hibernation for the winter.
If anyone out there has ANY clue as to where this thing is, PLEASE get back to me ASAP! If you want to e-mail me directly, cool. Go for it. I've got tomorrow off and would like to get this resolved.
Thanks in advance.
