My buddy is selling it.

We just pulled it out of his recently totalled 79 Lincoln Town Car.

Ran excellent. Less than 15k on professional rebuild - have receipts.

He has a good C6 trans to go with it.

I have a '77 Camaro that I'm restoring, too bad it's not a Chevy engine. I couldn't possibly consider putting a Ford in her.

You are probably right. The 351M / 400M block is quite tall and wide.

Yep bigger and wider than 351C which the heads interchange with (2 barrel heads). They are maligned engines because they never came with a 4 barrel carb and very little in the way of hot rod stuff was available although there were some aftermarket intakes and if you swapped 351C 4v heads on you could build somewhat of a monster out of the 400M.
