While watching television, I have be come aware of the Burger King spots that feature the "King" character in various skits like in bed with the guy, pushing Brooke Burke in a swing and my favorite when the guy looks out the window and sees the King standing out in the yard right before bringing the guy their new breakfast sandwitch.
Do you remember the Halloween movies where Jamie Lee Curtis looks out the window and sees Michael Myers standing in the same position in a similar yard, only to be gone when she looked again?
I don't know. Is it me or is his entire character just creepy?

I love those commercials! The advertising team at burger king is so high, only a group of stoned 20 something’s could come up with these.
My favorite is when the guy opens the door and the king is far away, he looks back at his wife and then the king is up at the door. Its so great.
This morning I bought burger king for breakfast and the wrappers have the weirdest stuff written on them. Its really like if cartoon network had a fast food chain.
I just liked the original one, where the guy wakes up with him in the bed, It was a total did they just say "wake up with the king"? Holy Subtle homosexuality batman!

What I found really creepy was the part where he reaches around from the back to give him a burger! Anybody slinging burgers near or around the butt area is too close for me. Come-on you know those Kings are full of gas!
I know one thing, he better not be in my Fiero or I'll be swinging a bat.

Did anyone notice that now the Quaker Oatmeal commercials are very similar to BK's? They even have their own creepy Quaker in a costume, I think it has to be the same ad guys. Brad

That guy really creeps me out. I'm not about to be taking food off of a golden platter from the psycho staring at me from my bedroom window.
Now Ronald MacDonald... Am I the only one who is offended when they replace the actor that portrays him? I remember being about 8 or 9 and noticing that Ronald looks different. I felt betrayed.

I noticed it too. The new Ronald had a much thinner face. I always thought he looked like the regular Ronald was smoking crack.

In case anyone is interested the very first Ronald McDonald was Willard Scott. He then went on to be the Weatherman on NBC's the Today Show.
Notice commercials are (as always) trying to top each other...and they go through phases. The current one seems to be trying to be really really odd. Like that bubble-gum one, where the kid tried to steal the gum, and the guy tosses something at him, and then his head gets all tiny..? not even "interesting", really, just

Same here. If I woke up to a "peeping king" at my window, I'd be too busy kicking his ass to worry about the food in his hand. And if the mofo was in my bed... total annihilation.
Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I don't like the way the commercials portray people accepting food from a stranger, sleeping with a stranger, etc. Kids watch these commercials, too.

If the commercials worry you, most TV programming must disturb you immensly.
dont worry people looks like the dog got the best of him after he tried to invade the home. See the god chewing on his face in the last clip of the commercial with the home owner standing over him laughing... So the world is safe again..
Yeah freaks me out also.. But all I can say is damn I wish he was there last night to serve me my food like that!!! 10 mins and we hadnt even made it to the window!!!! my bass player kicked it in reverse and we left after telling them theres no bother in waiting for the chicken to have the eggs..
