Bahhaha I realize how dangerous this could be to make one but something in me tells me to make one but then again I don't feel like making a thread a week from now about how I blew my hands & face up lol. So the pros & cons are:
Pros: Wickidly Fun You can light a candle from a distant(among other things lol) Just cool? lol
Cons: You could hurt yourself really bad or MAYBE die??
Also IF I or someone else were to make one, what are some precautions to take upon making and operating something of this danger? Anything to prevent the fire from coming up the stream(how do real flamethrowers do this???) and any other tips thx lol

You don't need anything to prevent the fire from coming up the stream.. No more than a propane torch needs something to prevent the fire from going into the canister..... If you choose to do this, I would only do it once, and then consider the supersoaker "broken". The methanol that's in the concentrated wiper fluid (emphasis on cencentrated - regular stuff won't burn) might eat the plastic sealant that holds the gun together. It should be okay for a couple of runs, but I wouldn't use it for more than a day.
If it's the video I'm thinking of, they use one of those isopropyl (sp?) alcohol washer fluid additives for melting ice. I think I posted this before or some one else did. I can't remember.

Oh, I can bet on that one! Our auto teacher was showing the dangers of it. Well, we were doing engine performance and by testing for leaks u can spray proprane or anything alcohol around a leak and the idle will change. After the demonstration with water, he used washer fluid, he asked what we thought it would do? Same thing as water right? WRONG. We didn't realize it was alocohol based. And he did something like the super soaker demonstration just on a bench. Good times
is this a little bottle of something you mix with a gallon of water?
dry gas is almost pure alcohol, and will burn, but the one gallon bottles of blue or orange washer fluid only has enough alcohol to keep from freezing - that stuff is not flammible
Ive never seen this stuff you mix with water, not around here
Well it said concentrate or something, so yes, I would assume you mix it with something..
As for the dangers, meh, we used to do it all the time with a supersoaker and hairspray.. Much more fun to attach a barbeque light to the pump handle though so you can turn it on at will.. Never came back up the spout.. if it does, just throw the dang thing.. Either way, it sure broke the watergun quickly..
