Sorry, but it isn't arrogance. All my life, I've heard criticism of the United States coming from abroad. They always seem to find a reason to dislike us. So, why should I worry about it? Seems like status quo to me.

Well, exactly, MontrealMike. It is an incredibly dumb idea. Just as dumb as polling Canadians, Australians, Spaniards, Russians, etc. about US elections.

I personally don't give a flying F>>k what other countries think about the United States. I am in fovor of pulling all aid to all forign countries that have that type of opinion of us and kicking the United Nations out of the US. The United Nations are a bunch of scum anyways they owe us money for years and refuse to pay for the rent / lease on the building. We would do better in the long run. We always have the option to reinstate Sadddam Hussein ( or however you spell his name ) back in charge for those of you who think we would do better with him still as president.

wow, talk about a massive generalization........ignorance? ......noooooooooooooooo couldn't be! :P

a majority of the people you are speaking to know a hell of alot more about what you speak of than you........i'm not saying you're wrong for your opinions, but make sure you don't sound like a hypocrite in the process of cramming these opinions down people's throats.

i read an article in maclean's magazine about the "know it all" Canadian attitude towards the US and their politics.....it explains how many (not most) Canadians continuously hurl criticisms over the fence, and how it's getting old really quick. i have no idea why that would relate to this

the cover of the magazine has a cartoon beaver standing with his nose high in the air, with a fishing net in his hand.....funniest maclean's cover ever!

If 70% of French people like Kerry, that's good enough reason for me to vote for Bush alone!

How ironic, no real reasons to vote for Bush.

Rather make more enemies than friends?
How many more enemies will it take before you feel that you are standing alone on an island surrounded by a sea of hatred?
What will it take? The first bomb dropped on the US by a colilition of European nations?

Ya know what really pisses me off Todd? I have and will continue to suffer through the little known or mentioned sanctions imposed by both France & Germany over this little game of conquest initiated by Duhbya.
This blind arrogance and unwillingness to accept responsibility for the poor image America has in the world will be undoing of this country.

You may be collage educated but history was obviously not your cup of tea. You should have followed in the footsteps of one of your family members and become a soldier instead of a fool blinded by greed.

Expecting to hear the rock solid proof of justification for this war and I read "stuff" and "forbidden munitions" then I see it's an opinion - views article. Why am I not suprised.

The case we went to war was Iraq had stockpiles of WMD and Saddam would use these against us by giving them to al-queda.

Conclusion in the report, No WMD capability.
