I saw it last night. A future world were love is the ultimate crime and drug use is government mandated, as a matter of fact, the whole population was monitored and directed by the government. I hope John Kerry wasn't watching it before he delivered his line "help is on the way". When I heard that, it sent a shiver down my spine.
ya, i love it. its great when you see refrences to the classics in new movies. like in sky captian when you go to the office of one ofthe scientists the number on the door is 1138.

Lucas made references to it in some of his other movies. Star Wars had the number "1138" in it, I think it was about one of the cell blocks. I seem to remember that American Grafitti had a car with that as a license plate.

That is soooo weird!!! me and a worker we're just talking about this movie today at work cause on his progress report letter.. he put on his "reply to his job" he put .. I am just a number, 826421 (or what ever his work number is) and we we're trying to remember what the number was 1138.. LOL Thanks!!!
