My bike needs a new alternator rotor (field coil). The bike is a 1986 FZ 600. There is a bolt in the center of the rotor that pushes it down over a shaft. This bolt must be taken out and a larger bolt screwed into the rotor to pull it off the shaft. Just wondering if anyone knows if the bolt is usually reverse threaded or not. I cannot seem to break it free even with HUGE amounts of pressure. I used a bar about 5 feet long and still was unable to get the bolt to move (the rotor keep always turning a little with the pressure). I have tried both clockwise and counter clockwise. I have the bike in gear with someone holding the brake on the back. I think I will likely need a impact wrench to get it free. :/
Any one have any past experience with something like this?

Note: It should be the same as FJ / YJ / XJ600 in same year.
