I have a friend that just bought an RX7 yesterday. 1st Generation 1984. I believe that is still 13A, other wise I would call him up and ask him, because yesterday he told me he picked up the complete maintence manual for that year and car.

I always thought 1st gen had the 12A in them, but I don't know that much about RX7's.

Nearly all of the 1st gen had the 12A. The only exception with the 13B is the 85 (I think) GSL-SE.

[EDIT] Just did a Google search and couldn't find any dimensions. Sorry.
