Does anyone now how to reshaft a golf club or about how much it will cost to get it done. I snapped the head off of my Biggest Big Bertha last night at the driving range. I have snapped the heads off of a few other clubs when I was in high school but I just gave them to my coach and the next day he gave it back fixed......any input is appreciated.

thanks in advance

jeremy

The guys in our tool shop machine out (that's fancy speak for drill out) the broken piece of shaft in the head and epoxy in the new shaft. Make sure that the new shaft is the correct length before you glue it in.

Not sure if that's the "proper" way to fix it, but it would work.
My father used to re-shaft clubs all the time while watching TV at night. It's not difficult. Go to a Golf shop or Pro shop and ask for a book on it. You can get info on repairing and refinishing the heads as well so you can restore the clubs almost indefinitely.

I've still got a set of 1967 Power Bilt woods that I LOVE the feel of.
They're made out of that rare high tech material that you just don't see anymore.... Persimmon.
Solid persimmon, not laminated, either. They rock.
