I went to Sprint today to report my missing/lost/stolen phone. I'm still trying to see if it turns up anywhere, but not looking bright. The Sprint lady said that if I knew anyone with a Sprint phone they're not using due to an upgrade, or cancelation of service, etc, that I can do an "EMS Swap" and get that phone actiated with my number in just a few minutes. My other option was to buy a new phone, which is way out of my budget.

Basically I'm looking to see if someone has an old sprint phone sitting in a closet or such that they might not be using anymore. I'd be willing to pay shipping and give ya some cash if so you desire, I'm just in need of a cheap phone.

Thanks for looking,
John.

I have one at home, my contract expired in December and I didn't renew. It was a nice one last year or so. It's a samsung flip phone, not sure of the model number. Not sure of how much to ask, make an offer I guess.

I've got an SCH-8500, and also an SCP-5150. I checked Ebay, and the 5150 seems to be going for anywhere from 50 to 100 bucks. I'll let you have mine for 50 bucks and shipping. It *does* have a scratch on the front cover, but nothing too severe. I'll throw in whatever extras I have for it, charger, case, etc. I'll send you the 6500 for $30 and shipping. Both work great, I just thought Sprint sucked, and switched to Nextel.
Lemme know if you're interested in either of these.
