Try going to the dealer with the VIN# and title or owners card in hand and ask if they can cut a new Key.

The dealer and the vin is your best bet. I had to do that with the Fiero. My original key was too worn to make copies with.

i heard those keys are expensive if they have the computer chip in them.

Or you can hire someone in the ghetto that steals cars, and help you out.

They usually use a slide hammer and pull the ignition key out.

The dealer is BY FAR cheaper than having a smith come out and do it or even pulling the lock and giving it to a smith.

If it has a chip he still needs to make sure he gets the proper "chip" code as well as the combination. which means he needs the car too and a few hours to find the chip code.

My dads Neon have a remote central locking keychain device that also triggers the anti theft ignition-lock (no alarm).
I believe that's on all Neons from 98 and up.
Not sure though

I didn't read closely, but make sure that when/if you go to the dealer that you have the proof of purchase and the VIN. The title would help, but I don't think it's necessary.
