I was just given a cheap USB webcam thing and I want to hook it up to the laptop for some kill videos, etc. (at the dragstrip...)

I got the camera to work, I just don't have a program that will record the video and sound for me.. I saw Artherd do this with his pirellis, etc, and I was kinda curious to do it myself...
Any recommendations on some possibly free or cheap prgrams?
