Yup, Finnaly taking Driver ed.... Alright (Im trying to do the best i can, drivers ed techer caught me doing dounuts in the parking lot of the school with the fiero, lettig me take class as long as i get a 90+' yes police were called)

Well i have to draw my engine and dash and lable it, i got that done

list 9 fluids under hood this is what i got:
1 gas
2 oil
3 brake
4 coolent
5 power steering (yea i know fieros dont have p/s)
6 cluth fluid (bake fluid)
7 transmission fluid
8 battery acid?
9 windshield fluid?

any dont belon there, any more that i dont know of? A/C (Freeon i think is a gas)

list 10 Effects of water
I dont know if he said on car or what it does when your driving, any suggestions?

List 10 ways your gonna get caught speeding
now i dont get this question, there is only 1 way - to speed right? any suggestions?

And i have to find out what the tab on the mirror does, I know it reduces glare for when u drive at night, how does it?

Thanks
Kyle

1) Yup, pretty much

Water:
1) Less traction
2) Less visibility
3) Glare
4) hydroplaning
5) hides road defects
6) temporarily disables brakes
7) Deep water can stall car
8) Promotes corrosion
9) destroys roads (sub-terranian washout)
10) destroys bridges (plain old washout)

Speeding:

1) Passing
2) Not slowing down for exits
3) Not paying attention to posted speed changes
4) Not slowing for construction
5) Racing
6) Ignoring school zones
7) Inattentiveness
8) Highway-hypnosis
9) "Pack Mentality" Driving as fast as the guy ahead, and ignoring speed.
10) Innacurate speedometer/incorrect tire-size

Rearview: The tab angles the mirror which is polarized. This means that only light comign from a certain range of direction is let through.
What happens is that when the mirror is angled, you don't get the reflection from the silvered surface on the back, but off the glass itself. This reflection is not as "efficient" so much of the reflected light is let through. The remaining image is weak, and convieniently does not glare.

I 'think' you're supposed to be doing this on your own. Of course, my thinking is way behind most of the time. But brings up something interesting to me. My kids were all grown and gone out into the world long before the internet was around. Is it common for students to use forums/boards to get answers instead of from their textbooks? Do they even issue textbooks anymore? Just curious.

Learnin' is learnin'!

Personally, in Driver's Ed, I ended up with 99% (stupid stop sign >:\). I don't mind helping people with their homework.

Having said that, I'd expect this lad to check MY answers with his book... But it ain't like it's cheating...

As for the internet as a source? At the University level, it's considered appropriate (unless specifically told otherwise) as long as it's documented properly, and backed up with other works

Now THAT is just plain bragging. Commander Spock would be quick to remind you that a sign is just an inanimate object, without the capacity for stupidity or intelligence.
However, the life-form observing the sign....well, I'll just quit while I'm ahead.

hehehe... No, the problem was that I couldn't remember the parking restriction, whether it is 9m or 15m...

Your Honor, the prosecution rests. Sorry, I couldn't help myself, the keboard just had a mind of it's own. BTW, I failed my first attempt at the written test when I was 15. There were circumstances involved. There were certain questions that would automatically generate a failing grade. "Is the red lens at the top or bottom of a traffic light?" I am color blind,(didn't know it then) so didn't know the answer, I just always stopped. We only had one traffic light in town anyway, everybody ran it.

It's both. After passing through the compressor and condensor it is a liquid until it gets to the evaporator.

Took my permit test 3 times, passed all 3. Just never got asround to gettin' my license, no reason. Everything was withing 5-10min's walkin' distance. when you have a 12speed bike its liek 1-2mins. I could get across topwn on my bike in 10mins flat, sign to sign. (Yea it was a small town- one of those one stop light places in the middle of no where...)
Anyways...

I did good in drivers ed. The book had all the answers in it, and they didn't make things very hard. My on-road instructor, however, did think I pulled away from stops too fast and needed to go lighter on the accelerator. He didn't realize for me that was pulling away slowly! I mean, it was an old auto Nissan Sentra, it had two speeds... slow and slower!!

Speaking of drivers test. I didn't know I needed glasses till I went for my driver's eye exam. The guy giving the test said "don't come back till you bring your glasses with you". How embarrassing.

Hmmmm...Drivers ed... i slept in that one, never did the driving hours, took the test in MY personal car, passed the written with no problem.... yeah, it was a cinch... then again, my fathers friend ran the course, and knew i could drive like a son of a b**** thanks the NH troopers that took me under their wings. i knew the rules, knew how to drive. never "Technically" took the course though. to this day, i have 2 accidents on my record. once i was hit (rather creamed)by a drunk driver, and the other time i was backed into by an idiot who "forgot", in her words, that i was in the road, waiting for a red light to change.
speeding tickets? no thanks. common sense is all you need once you have the license, thats why i think that it should be a common sense course, not a drivers ed course. drivers cause accidents, common sense avoids them. why teach people to be drivers? (please dont look at this as a literal statement)
beyond that, if you check the info given to you (i think it was all correct) then you should do fine, study it, take a test, drive a Fiero (dont do donuts, tires are not cheap, nor the ticket)
my $2.00
over opinionated,
Myke
