General Motors doesn't have a help line for people who don't know how to drive, because people don't buy cars like they buy computers, but imagine if they did....................

HelpLine: "General Motors HelpLine, how can I help you?"

Customer: "I got in my car and closed the door and nothing happened!"

HelpLine: "Did you put the key in the ignition slot and turn it?"

Customer: "What's an ignition?"

HelpLine: "It's a starter motor that draws current from your battery and turns over the engine."

Customer: "Ignition? Motor? Battery? Engine? How come I have to know all these technical terms just to use my car?"

---------------------------

HelpLine: "General Motors HelpLine, how can I help you?"

Customer: "My car ran fine for a week and now it won't go anywhere!"

HelpLine: "Is the gas tank empty?"

Customer: "Huh? How do I know?"

HelpLine: "There's a little gauge on the front panel with a needle and markings from 'E' to 'F'. Where is the needle pointing?"

Customer: "It's pointing to 'E'. What does that mean?"

HelpLine: "It means you have to visit a gasoline vendor and purchase some more gasoline. You can install it yourself or pay the vendor to install it for you."

Customer: "What? I paid $32,000 for this car! Now you tell me that I have to keep buying more components? I wanted a car that comes with everything built in!"

but isn't there people that dont know that your suppose to change your oil?

I remember when computers use to come with 300 page books. Now you just get a little 5 page thing. I guess people still dont read either one of them.

I was watching Jay leno, and you know me, anti SUV. So jay leno did one of those segments when he interviews people on the streets. This one was about SUV owners. 90% of them didn't know what SUV meant. Others also didn't know what 4X4 meant, or how to access it. Some people said they havn't really read the manual. Also he asked if anyone really went offroading and he was showing an SUV commercial and its showing the SUV driving on dirt roads. The funny part was when this one lady says she likes being up high and being able to see everything and a fat guy is walking across the SUV.

If the car crashed, all you would have to do is turn the key off, and then turn it back on again and everything would be back to normal.

And another thing. Imagine doing 85 down the freeway and all of a sudden all the cars controls lock up and will not respond. Brakes, steering, gas pedal....
