OK Fellow Washingtonians...Isn't it amazing there are NO clouds at the coast?! Took this pic a couple of weekends ago...

The ocean and the mountains in one pic. We are truely lucky to live in such a beautiful place. We got it all, the ocean, mountains, rain forest, and desert. What more could someone want?

Snow and tundra come to mind.

Think about it.
Eight months of no insects or crawlies of ANY kind. Laying flat in the snow watching the northern lights. Snow berms by the roads to bounce Fiero's back between the lines.

I spent some years in western Washington with my grandparents and am awed to this day thinking of the greenery of the rain forest/ocean areas. A friendly jungle.

Love the ocean shots. However this one was one of the prettiest ocean mountain shots I have.

I wish I lived nearby. It is Anahola Beach on the island of Kauai. Taken when I had the chance to go to Kauai in 1990.

Down here in the "sunbelt" (Oklahoma) we had 4" of rain on Sunday and a 30% chance today for rain. That's it, I'm moving to Seattle where I can dry out AND get a good cup of coffee!

Beautiful pics, folks.

Stimpy,
Please send some of that rain to Atlanta.
For the last three years there is about a 20" rain deficit.
It's so dry here that the pine trees are starting to follow the dogs around.
