You can find .wav audio files on the Net of everything from comedy bits to animal noises to Fiero engines.

Does anybody know how to make a .wav file? If I take a tape recorder and a good microphone to the Nationals and come back with a tape of Northstars, 3800's, etc., is there a fairly easy way to post these on a Web site?

yup..this is easy..

just take your tape player and feed the output to the input on your soundcard.

and use a program like goldwave www.goldwave.com to record the wav.
