I'm sure that many of you have seen this. If not, it's worth trying. This works with MS Word 97. Open a blank Word document. Type the words "unable to follow directions" (without the quotes), and highlight them. On the menu bar, click "Tools". Scroll down to "Language", and across to "Thesarus". It will give you a suggested replacement. Note: I'm not sure what the results will be for a non-US version of Word.

Cliff, Sorry you got left out of this one. I thought that might happen, with non-US versions. There are one or two others. I'll have to see if I can remember them. There is also a routine, hidden in Excel, that can be started by entering some really unlikely combination of keystrokes, that turns it into a sort of 3-D flight simulator, or some such. There is no telling *what* they've hidden in their applications.
