I had to kind of rebuild my headliner board and used small things of fiberglass cloth to brace it on the back side. If i used a single layer on the side that the material is on, would the material stick in those areas to the resin? Just want to glass the corners around the sunroof opening where it broke on both sides.

I had to glass mine. The side where the material is on was not an issue after using contact cement to attach it. It will stick to the resin/glass area no problem.

If you use good contact cement (not spray can crap), you wont have any trouble sticking material to it.

you should be spraying both sides. Just dont do it too thick so it bleeds through and make sure you let it set up before putting them together. If you are using the foam backed headliner it wont be a big issue at all.

Ya, you spray it on both, material and board. It should be on it like silly string, not any wet globs. Let both dry for a few minutes depending on temp (dry to touch). Make sure you got it positioned exactly right, may take a few extra hands. Once DAP touches, its permanent. You will not get it back off to reposition it without destroying it.
