I am going to purchase the Warber hood scoop and mold that in. I want to be able to vent the air, and I think that's going to be the best. I am buying a spare hood, so I don't have to stick with it in case I want to leave the hood alone. It seems parts are getting very hard to find these days, and I'd like to have the option to go either way. I am always wanting to mod this car, but I get worried it will lose the clean effect. Maybe I just need to buy another and do all that to it lol.
It looks good, it might start to look too busy though with much more.
I think this would look good too:
Thanks for doing that for me. It does start to look busy. I think I might just elect to the warber hood scoop and that's it for now. I want to find some other fenders and maybe do this so I can switch them out lol.
Add a vote in favor of. I love those vents, they look like they should have been factory. Add a vote for re-blacking all the trim, too. Gorgeous car!

I agree, nice car as is. The added ones look ok, but theyre just for looks since you dont have any heat to vent out. I wouldnt want it open into the wheel well...youll just spray water and stones thru them up the sides. I like the height you have it and the tall tires really fill out the wheel wells in rear nice. Has a real muscle car look. You have the same wheels I have on my Sebring conv too.

I had both the rear "out" vents, and the fender "in" vents and I didn't like it, so I swapped out the rears for some "in" vents, and I feel it looks much better. Some of my old pics will show what i'm talking about.
I am a fan of the fender vents.

Rob, Do you happen to have some pics you could post in this thread? I would appreciate it. I've been thinking about that exact thing about the out and in vents. I was questioning how that would look with my current side scoops I have.

Roger, Thank you for the nice comments. I really want to add a hood scoop like a Warber scoop as I'm pretty certain I am going to get that and make it a new mod to have especially since I drag race the car a lot and plan to hopefully start road racing it at some point at least for fun. I'd like to vent out that hot air and pressure under the front to prevent the lifting and the light feeling in the front.
It looks weirder in the photoshop, because the angles don't line up right, and because the rear vents are "outies." The T/A vents on the front do look a whole lot better if you've got the IMSA-style vents on the rears, than with the outies or other style vents, and have the lines all lined up nice.

Heres what I have. I have one pair of store bought (r&l) of the smaller plastic ones on left. You would have to cut out what you want. The one on the right is one I designed in fiberglass and gelcoat. I also have only one pair (r&l). They will need some finish work, just pulled from molds and set aside. Make offers. Im selling all this kind of stuff before I move at an auto swap meet in May. Need rear window louvers set for 2nd gen Camaro/Firebird ? 3 piece set of good used.

I agree. I like the front fender vents but with the rear vents going out instead of in it just doesn't look right. I've seen a few with both vents going in and I think that looks really good.

I think the fender is not long enough for vents. If the rear vents on the last car were turned around to go on the front fender, that would "look" right for me. It would be a lot of work to get it to work with the leading edge of the door. I had a set of early T/A fender vents that I would have liked to have used, but they are to big. The fender is so small. I was thinking of just having a set "air brushed" on to make them fit.
It doesn't flow with your other vents. I like your car as is, if you want to change it up a little.. I say paint your roof black.
That could work. Or a whaletail. (Seems like I remember someone who did both... )
I don't care for the front fender scoops on yours, with the "outty" rear scoops. The shapes tend to clash. I understand the urge to do "something else", but you might be approaching the point of diminishing returns if you're not careful. Your car looks really nice, as is.

Believe me I know lol. I don't want to modify the car at all honestly, but just got an urge to do something. I bought Archie's warber hood scoop and plan on getting to work on it on a spare hood I have in my garage. I plan on swapping it on and using it to vent the air and hopefully cool the motor a bit more. I will have both still and I can swap hoods lol. Thanks for all the nice comments. I guess I just need to buy another Fiero and start modding it too!

Time for a new fiero! Get a GT this time around, Do a hatch. with mustang sails, GT STyle 1 (fiero Fiberglass) side scoops. And a front side exhaust vents, with a warber hood. <3 that is my dream fiero, if only the budget was there.
