I had some new inside door lock/unlock sticker sets made. This time I decided to try the clear film coating on them to make them last longer. Nobody has ever told me they do not last but I thought they might be better with the clear shielding on them.
But: they are now thicker. I'm not sure if people will prefer the old thin type lock stickers. I can send some out N/C for some people to try out and let me know. I might be a few hundred emails so only the first few get them. : )
Email me at rodney@rodneydickman.com
If anyone has used my old ones enough to wear them out let me know also.

Thanks a Million!!!! Here is a pic installed. Now I installed them a little bit low to cover a crack on my Lock side of the button. As you can see in pic they are flush with bottom of button area instead of centered. They look wonderful and are of high quality and NOWAY are they too thick. I like !!!! As usual perfect work.

Nice little dress-up item, Rodney. Thanks for sending me a set. Below is the nasty old switch that needed a makeover, then the finished installed part. The thickness is perfect. Any thinner and it would be difficult to apply. I STRONGLY urge people to heed Rodney's advice about using windex or a soapy mix on the adhesive backing. I can almost guarantee you will get it on crooked if you attempt it dry. It's near impossible to re-lift for a second try.

First off, if you don't know, or haven't really thought about it, the color white is achieved by leaving ink off of an area of white paper. There used to be a desktop printer that used a dry white ink ribbon (ALPS) but it is no longer manufactured. I know of it from custom plastic model decals. The best way to print white ink is to use screen printing, although I'm not sure if this how Rodney's are done. I am bringing all of this up because the quality of these is first class, These are not some cheap desktop printed decal by any means! In fact because of the gauge / thickness of the sticker, you can even use them for covering up a broken switch cover as I and tntcary have done. I am not familiar with the original sticker's thickness, but I would say it the current ones are perfect!
Broken plastic cover...
Rodney's Stickers not only look great, but cover-up flaws!
