I'm looking for some good advice on rebuilding my head light motor. It was operating real sluggish and then quit moving. It decided to work again but I pulled it out to find all the lube dried and cracked, but gears look pretty good. What about the motor? I didn't find brushes like I thought I would. It has two springs that ride on the armature. One of them has a pad on it (brush?) and the other doesn't.

What year Fiero do you have? There are two styles of headlight motors 1984 - 1986 (Gen 1), and 1987 - 1988 (Gen 2)
