A friend of mine has one with about 330K, original engine and trans. Has the typical stupid Illinois rust around the gas filler in the rear quarter panel. But otherwise, its a solid tank of a car. Interior still looks new except for the typical saggy leather on the driver's seat. Back when I had my Beretta, I really liked how solid and indestructible the GPs seemed in comparison.

I have a hard time believing the trans is original with that much mileage. But otherwise I agree they are very solid cars if taken care of...the ones I see in the junkyard have either high miles or are rusted to nothing....usually both.
The same trans tends to die sooner in a Riviera because of the extra weight, same reason why it holds up better in a Fiero.

Local old guy has more than that on his 96 Bonnie. On his second trans otherwise stock with new lim gaskets and a sc coupler and a new harmonic balancer.
