For sure there have been times I was gassing up a car, and someone came over and asked if it was for sale. I should have said "whats your offer" but I have hemmed and hawed or been taken by surprise and not been ready. If the offer is enough to upgrade it only makes sense. I try not to get attached to cars, but it happens.

I might be willing to trade my Fiero (and all associated parts) for a C5 Corvette. I'm not sure if any Vette owner would be crazy enough to swap for my Fiero, though.
Any price I would come up for my '88 would be totally ridiculous/laughable, because I have no desire to sell it. I've gotten some fantastic offers from people at shows and turned them all down. So far, I can't put a price on the pleasure of owning this car, a day may come down the road, but hasn't arrived yet.
I might be willing to sell my 427LSX IMSA if someone offered me $45,000.I've got a lot more in it plus my labor, but then I could build another one. Some one would sure get one of a kind if they didn't kill themselves.
a little story first... This past summer, an out of stater pulled in my driveway in a Mercedes. I met him on the front porch. He wanted to know if I wanted to sell one of my Fieros ( I had the 15k mileage 87 Blue coupe and the White Formula on the front lawn for cleaning)... he pointed to them. Easily I said "Sorry, they aren't for sale!" then I told him I only have seven... He laughed and told me he would swing in before winter and see if I wanted to sell one of them, then . I shook his hand and he left. About an hour later ... after thinking about the situation... I considered selling one... I guess I know my answer to this question. They are NOT for sale.

Currently I'd probably sell for enough money.. but after the swap I will say probably not.. It would be really hard to sell something you put so much time and work into.

I bought my wife has a very nice C5 coupe. I still like driving my Fiero more, even though she can leave me in the dust....... The Vette just seems big when you are used to a Fiero.
