I saw that and thought about posting it.. I mean there is no way that would even remotely help performance right? I would think it would hurt it because your restricting your exhaust
We used to do something similar with perforated strap, and the poor guy who had one shoved up his exhaust would have a very loud whistle when he hit the gas!

Do they still sell the spiral flex exhaust tubing? That stuff whistled too! A one foot length of flex tube on each side of my exhaust would take a second off my quarter mile time, lots of restriction, and a loud whistle!
I've seen a few of these around, but this is one of those items that I just REALLY do not understand. I thought the whole idea of modified exhaust was for it to be loud or give a unique sound. All these things do is create a really annoying whistle. It's like having a brain and then all of a sudden mashing it into pieces. Makes no sense.
My Lord how I have missed this video. Upvotes for everyone here!
Now that's what I'm talking about! lol
I would have posted in humor in the tech section, but more would just flame me (and possibly neg me). I would have posted in O/T, but more people would have probably seen it and flamed me. So, I posted it in GFC "general" because a discussion could possibly start about what it would sound like on a Fiero exhaust... Then, even add MORE humor. It might be worth a science experiment for S*** and Giggles.
My personal opinion of the Ebay link would be a glorified deer whistle, which is a small step away from acually crapping a potato into someone's exhaust? Might be useful for the highly deer populated areas? I'd rather lost performance and significantly lower the life of my engine, than hit a deer at 55mph.
Feel free to add other funny borderline Fiero-related links.

Why use these widgets that make your Fiero look and sound like sh*t?
