I was obsessed with these at first. I was literally a week away from buying the red one up in Canada. I think I dodged a bullet considering that the molds for the body panels were lost, and you CAN'T get any Enterra specific replacement parts. Bill the guy that ended up buying the red one I almost bought said the previous owner Jason claimed he knew a guy who had made molds off of all the body panels, but when Bill aksed about it, he came up with less than optimal results. I still love these cars, but the headache it would cause if it needs any serious work wouldn't be worth it, and apparently this car needs a bit of work. This car was for sale on CL many times over the past couple of years, so I'm thinking there's more wrong than what they're telling.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover the Enterra was actually produced in Burnaby B.C. Canada. It would be interesting to know how many of the 38 Enterra's produced are still in existence and where they are located.
Unfortunately this eBay Seller set-up his auction to prevent any bids and/or messages from being sent by Canadian bidders.
I have notified eBay Motors of other auctions blocked to Canadians (even where Seller made reference to Canadian bidders having to pay for additional shipping cost) and was advised they are unable to intervene with an auction setup and they will not contact the Seller on behalf of a bidder.

The Enterra isn't one of those "wanna" be Ferrari replica kit, but is truely a nicely done body style that is superior looking to the original Fiero body styles. I tried to buy one in 2004 or so and the owner didn't want to sell it to me. I was going to buy 7k or so for the 1988 red Enterra. He sold it somone living in AZ.

Agreed, it just looks like a supercar with some European styling cues- a slimmed down version of one of my favorite cars, the DeTomaso Pantera.
I'd love to own one once I have a garage of my own.

Wow - that was surely dumb of me to exclude Canadian buyers - I tried to modify the listing, but it will not allow me to do so. I really apologize for that oversight. I can only plead my ignorance with eBay. I want everyone to know that I have represented this Enterra as accurately and honestly as I can. Any one wanting to bid on the car can request more pictures and I have been sending them. I have nothing to hide in that regard. I certainly do not want to mislead any potential buyers. As stated in the eBay ad, this Enterra is in need of a full restoration, but the neat thing about it is that it is all there! That is to say, there are no parts missing (well, the original radio was replaced with an aftermarket radio - but I doubt that would detract from the overall package).
OK, for you Canadians - if you want an Enterra, I happen to know where one is up in your country that is likely still for sale - although I have not verified that. I talked with the owner a few months ago and he said he would sell it, since he was just about finished with his 2nd Enterra. It is black and was fully restored a few years ago - he just does not need 2 of them is what he told me. He mentioned $15K for a price, but that is subject to change obviously. Anyone interested, let me know and I will put you in contact with him. eatonwf@comcast.net
By the way, I have been trying to find all the Enterras out there - I have only been able to identify and locate 11 so far out of the 38. I have fairly reliable info about 2 that were totaled due to damage beyond repair. There maybe others, but I have not been able to track them down.

The car on the Ebay ad isn't Bill's. I was mentioning Bill but he has nothing to do with this one.
EDIT wow I guess I was wrong. Sorry Bill I didn't know you bought this white one, I guess I haven't been paying attention. I assumed you were the guy selling it on CL a couple of years ago. Thanks for clarifying.

Don't ask me how I know, but eBay is now accepting bids for the Enterra from Canadians. There must be a Canuck out there who'd like to bring this Enterra back home to Canada!

I tried sending a message to request more photos and this is the message that pops-up on eBay:
"Find answers from 7952william We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing."

Do you not get the window to type in a message and another window to type in the verification code to send the message? If not, I suspect the problem is at your end with your browser or security settings or whatever. I sent a message to Bill with no problem just to see if it worked.

Thanks Patrick: Your message came through fine - and as you mentioned Canadians can bid on the car - I know that now as I have seen in the bid history a bid from a Canadian party. Canfirst - if you want more pictures, send your email address to eatonwf@comcast.net - I can send you lots more pictures - and apparently you can bid on the car if you so desire. Thanks all. Bill Eaton

The new owner is Mrs. Troyboy, she will have fun bringing it back to life . I should have a good night
Ohh so you guys bought it.... Hell of a buy you guys got (and another legit rare fiero added to the east coast) from your taste in style in fiero's with the union I know you guys will restore it with justice...

If this had come up sooner, you could have nabbed a set of 18" HRE wheels that were the exact same design as you have on your orange car. They sold on ebay a couple months ago for like around $1K. Ridiculously low price.

One of the few kit's I would like to own. I like the look of them, except the tail lights. I'd have to change them for something else if I ever got one.

I wouldent change them... there ugly as sin but there of historical significance to the car.. Down the road say 20-30 years from now when the fiero is a thing of the past and an un head of car cars like the enterra are not only going to be historical there going to be valuable to thats whay I'd leave it original..

ow I gota ask? You told her it was hers just so you could get it into the house dident you
no I wanted her to have it before she sees Archies bill for my current IMSA madness . But she is making me nervous, last night she kept looking at the HRE 505's and 454's, I told her " thats madness!! who would pay that much for rims" lol time for me to cover up my center caps.

we want to keep the car mostly stock so any upgrade we do will be reversible, and we will also keep the old parts. The tail lights are an ez fix , we are going to light them up with LEDs in the stock housing and have tasteful smoked covers made.

You and the wife could have matched.
She said thanks Tony and already said that if she lets me bring it to daytona that you and I will watch the kids while she and your wife take both of the cars for a drive down the strip.

That would be enough . I agree whatever is done it would be best to keep it reversable and keep ahold of the stock parts so you can change it back when needed. I was thinking more along the lines of a fiberglass mold then creating a panel like the replacement for the GT lights. Then I could mount lights in the panel of my choosing. However, smoked covers work also! Aren't those lights off a 80's Sunbird or something like that?
