I was wondering what some of the better junkyards are in Michigan for finding Fieros. About a month back I went around the Bay City / Saginaw area stopping by all the junk yards looking for a part for my 1990 Oldsmobile 88, and that was too old for most of them to have anything. Needless to say, they didn't have any Fiero parts. I'm not really looking for any specific part, but I know there are a lot of little things on my car I'd like to replace because of wear etc.
I know theres probably a lot of em in the Detroit area, but if you know of any good places in northern MI I'd love to hear it!
As far as "junk yards" you're correct, there are no Fieros in the Bay City/Saginaw area...I've looked.
In Sanford (few miles NE of Midland) Fieros Forever has dozens of Fieros in stock. You can get just about any part for any year. Tim there is a member of the Michigan Fiero Club and a real good guy. He has helped me out a few times with my 87 GT.
Here's a link to a previous PFF write up about Tim and Fieros Forever
I can hear a collective groan from the folks in Cadillac. I'm sure they don't think they are in central Michigan....along with Houghton Lake.....I think the line is M-55........

I live about 5 miles north of Sanford. Shortly after high school, I sold Tim the 86GT t-top I had at the time. He still has it and got Hulki to sign the glovebox a few years ago.
edit: Hmm, looks like I need to update my location in my profile. /edit

The problem is that people think that Michigan stops at the Mac. Bridge There is a lot of Michigan land north of the bridge and if you look at a map... Cadillac is really more in the center than in the north. To me, northern Michigan is really from the tip of the mitt on up... even really north of Traverse City/Gaylord, but others will want to be "in the north"
