You could always get a peice of aluminum bar stock about 1/4" thick and as wide as the 3 ribs. Then have it bevelled on each side and engraved 1/8" deep. Afterward you could affix them to the valve covers. Just an idea.

that's a good idea too...now I have alot of options. haha. would the aluminum bar look the same when it's painted , compared to the actual valve cover?..I'm getting my supercharger and valve covers painted to match and I dont want it to look "off" since it'd be a different piece. lol I'll talk to my mechanic and the paint guy about it. thanks!

not sure if they are available anymore , I bought these they were only ones available that used the factory gaskets, but like I said they are pretty thin to be doing any engraving

yea those look nice and shiny! I think we might just try to sand/buff the valve covers I have already and use a stencil to make the "3800 supercharged" words on it. go the easy/cheaper route.XD I dont know if the fiberglass ones would be too thin/weak to be engraved...

The fiberglass is actually really thick.. although you probably would have a hard time doing anything after you poked through the gelcoat.

yea I dunno what we'll decide to do....either a stencil over the fiberglass ones, or get all new aluminum ones and have them engraved. either way I'll be happy as long as its purple and matches the supercharger XD and hopefully get the oil fill cap moved to the other side...
