Honestly, I've never seen these seats before in a Fiero and I've seen a huge amount of fieros. Thought they were early creation mr mikes or something.

Tom did tell me they are original. I did offer to trade him the seats in my old car and I'll hold true to that if he so wishes. If not well I think I'm gonna get these fixed and hand them over to a guy who's been like a brother to me. (also a Fiero nut) fierojohnny here on the forum. He doesn't get on here much but, if it weren't for him I would be in a bad place right now. Can't think of anybody more deserving.

Dangit Dave, I'm going to have to smack some sense into you if you keep giving everything away

Speaking of that, interested in a black CF pattern headliner? Its got your name on it if you think it'd somehow match and you have a use for it.

Nope... it's just the kind of person i am. Well, when the person deserves it anyway.

Thank you for the offer but i'm not much of a CF fan. Personally i feel it's been played out.

Cant wait for sunday... d-day for my braking issue. Got the master cylinder, Pads, ebrake cables and all four rubber brake lines in yesterday.
still gotta stop and get the speed bleeders and brake fluid today. Thinking of going DOT 4. Going to dry out the system so might as well right?

Edit: Just got horrible news. Probably wont see the calipers till next week. guess i should have just bought new.

I gotcha, I wasn't going for the "CF" look- I like like the pattern and texture.

Hmm that really sucks

got the brake fluid and speed bleeders yesterday. getting anxious.

Sorry man. wasn't trying to flame or nothing about the CF. A long time ago i did an accord that was 90%+ CF body and interior. Got a little nuts with it. Guess that's what turned me off to it.

You don't know the half of that. lol. Even my boat was part ricer. young and dumb. Thankfully i've stuck to fiero's.

Just made a cool brake fluid catch bottle out of a mountain dew bottle and some rubber hose. Should work well with the one man bleeders.

Well replaced the master. That didnt work. So In my frustration I hammered the brake pedal to find a vacuum leak in the "good" booster. Well the place where they were leaking vacuum were both in different spots. So, I pieced together one good booster from one bad. Tada! It works now. Unfortunately I found the rear driver side caliper has a broken screw and pass side has no ebrake bracket!

Going to have to wait for my calipers. Not cool. But I did tool it around the block. Fronts work great now.

Update:
I got the brakes to lock up a little better. Still waiting on my (paid for two weeks ago) calipers. Got a temp light today so now i gotta go figure that out. might have the wires switched at the connector. we shall see. Got another week extension to leave my car where it is because of the lack of needed parts. So i cleaned out the heater box. a ton of debris in there! The idle stays around 2000, not sure why yet. it does have the egr delete so who knows.

Also got a chance to bring it outside and get a few shots of it.

I just noticed the other day the rpo sticker has the wrong vin, any ideas?

So I got brakes going in this weekend and custom lettering in the tails as soon as I figure out what I want to have it say. :/

I have a few other things in the works too but gotta finish making it drivable first.

I'm gonna try to hand deliver your lenses when they are ready. Been a pain to get time to finish mine.
I'll get em done soon enough though. One side is prepped for paint and the other is almost there. Trying to find the time is seriously becoming a pain.

Yep... Doing the same thing IMSA GT did to his GT taillights. Remove the black and custom lettering.
I'm getting there. Removing the black was the easy part. I suck at prep work, but i'm learning!

I'm going to do notchback tails too at some point with lighting and such but i don't have a set on hand and my "extra" money is tied up in this car right now. So... give me time. a set will fall in my lap eventually.

Here's what i have so far... still gotta go over them with 2000 grit and re-polish. I polished one a little bit just to see where i was at. These were a crap set off my old car. The first one i removed the black (first attempt/drivers side) didn't go so well but, the second one i learned a process that makes it insanely easy! I'll get the rest out if i need to but we shall see.

Following thisand mothers plastic polish.

As for the car? Today was horrid! I noticed it was low on coolant so I filled it, drove it around the block a few times and it started shooting coolant out of the overflow bottle. so... Gotta order parts and wait again. Starting to think ill never really drive this thing. Running out of money, out of time and I had no choice but to drive it 20 miles home today from where it was. Had to drive with a meter and thermocouple kapton taped to the engine. Not pleasant. Took me 4 hours to get home. The temp gauge or wiring is toast so gotta figure that out.

Not to mention the rear calipers I paid for are crap. So... Wasted more money and brakes aren't a 100%. Not trying to make a daily driver but would be nice to feel safe enough to give my son a ride in it!

Seriously considering cutting my losses and walking away.

patience... its only been two weeks, it took me 6 months to get mine right (didnt help that it sat for 10yrs in a garage)

If you dont have the funds, save up and take your time.. the car isnt going anywhere, and it will be well worth it in the end.. there is nothing on the road like these.

Then you must have an air bubble in the system. You might want to try to put a theromastat in it as well then. Make sure the hoses are not collasping as well.

Hoses are good, no collapsing that I can see. I filled it right the first time but who knows. I ordered a new front cap, temp sensor and I have a new gauge now. So we shall see on Saturday.

Unfortunately this is not going to be finished by me. It'll be on Craigslist soon enough for $1000 obo. Anybody here wants it, $600.
I have all four rubber lines, calipers that need to be rebuilt with rebuild kits. Used but good lower door gfx, door hinge kit for sagging drivers door, speed bleeders, vacuum lines, headlight rebuild kits, brake pads, ebrake cables new and used but good rear struts. Good tires on it. New master cylinder, oil pressure sensor, new coolant temp sensor, aux gauges have been fixed.

Got a good start on this but I have literally no time. In order to make the bills my wife is working opposite of me. So, no sitter to play with the car. No time + not fully driveable = selling.

I will however finish the tail lights in hopes of another gt Fiero in my future. we shall see what the future holds.

Tell me about it... but i have zero time anymore. The thing has been sitting and overstaying it's welcome at the same place you dropped it off. Not what i want to do but also gotta think of my kids first, car second.

Hardpact, Honestly i can't take a second major loss. If i didn't need the money, I would have you just come take it back. Feel kinda bad about it but i can't do anything about it.

It is what it is. Can't do anything about it. No time and no more $ to keep going. Hit a heavy setback that I couldn't handle in the time I had so... Gotta go.
