Just saw the season premiere of Top Gear UK, in which will.i.am was the Star in a Reasonably Priced car. During the interview segment, he revealed that his first car was a Pontiac Fiero. Will referred to it as a "Poor Mans Ferrari" to which Jeremy Clarkson replied "Oooh, that really is poor. That's even a poor man's MR2."

Disparaging remarks aside, it was neat to see the Fiero get some Worldwide recognition.

you just beat me to it, but i must say i would love to see a top gear special when they come to Canada and one of them chooses the fiero. it seems like a Hammond car to me.

ok second thread on this (the poor mans mr2 has a higher resale i believe) certainly does in Australia.

My thread was here first...

The MR2's were more expensive when new than a Fiero, so it's technically true... but not nearly in the scale of Fiero/Ferrari comparison.
