I am getting ready to have a batch of 1984 4 speed Fiero shift and select cables made. I am trying to determine how many of each to make. For the 85-87 V-6 4 speed Fiero I have always sold more shift cables than select cables. I'm looking for any advice on the 84 4 speeds. Should I make an equal amount of each or does one cable tend to need replacing more often than the other? Any advice is appreciated.

I ended up replacing both on mine, (and needed your help with the ends even though I bought the cables elsewhere) Thanks! This was because you didn't offer them at the time. Rest assured I'll buy my next set from you.

So my experience is that they both are probably worn out if someone is restoring an 84. My vote is for an equal number.
