No idea, as I only have a CJB ride here. I can take any pictures you need for reference if you need though... Anyone out there with knowledge on this? I'd be interested in knowing as well, as I've heard that the two aren't exactly interchangable.

Robert

CJB is the factory T-top option code, '88 only. They're still C&C T-tops, but have different seals which makes some parts incompatible with earlier non-CJB T-tops.

The seals are the difference. The gasket and the trim that holds the headliner in are made as one on the CJB vs the retro fit t top seal that were two seperate pieces.

I have not tried t but I see no reason why you can not use one or the other on any of the tops as the rest of the parts are the same and will interchange.

I think C&C just went to the one piece seal when they took the cars in house to make it easier to put on and a seal that would stay in place better for Pontiac and warranty issues. The two piece gaske works fine but the headliner trim can slip off if you hit it.

They biggest thing is the CJB is considered a factory option while the retro fit kits were considered a dealer installed option. The funny part is C&C did a lot of the earlier installs too at their place with the same people before Pontiac made it an official factory option. The factory installs were done at C^C not at Pontiac on the line.

To some it is a big deal other not so much. Just having the T top is good no matter what the listing. That is if you seals are good. LOL!
